Rozanna Purcell competed in Miss Universe Ireland 2009 and was 1st Runner-up to Diana Donnelly. The following year, 2010, Purcell became the first Miss Universe Ireland to place since 1998, after being called among the Top 15. Purcell competed in the swimsuit segment and placed 4th with an average score of 8.784. Purcell then competed in evening gown with a score of 8.548. Despite her confirmed favouritism by Pageant Experts and Blogs across the globe to become Ireland's first Miss Universe, Purcell failed to advance to the Top 5, finishing in 7th place.
After Miss Universe
Purcell was offered a contract with Trump Model Management after the Miss Universe 2010 competition ended, and was offered additional contracts in Mexico and Colombia.She was then invited to judge at the Miss Venezuela 2010 pageant. She later joined her mentor Andrea Roche's modeling agency in Ireland.
She has talked of her difficulties at minus 25C on Kilimanjaro.
She was a judge at Miss Universe Ireland 2012.
Television work
She won Come Dine With Me (Ireland) on TV3 in 2012.
She participated in Celebrity Bainisteoir on RTE in 2012. She managed Newtown Cashel, in Longford.
She has expressed a wish to do Big Brother.
She is a judge on the RTE Television Show Ireland's Ultimate Debutante.
